LCD Enclosures - Mobile Dynamic Advertising

By Dave Bradley

Mobile digital signage is an industry inside outdoor dynamic marketing that is booming, so much so some firms are fitting a LCD monitor enclosures on the sides of delivery trucks.

Digital signage enclosures - Best Protection.

With more and more organisations understanding that they have valuable commercial real estate on their business vehicles, they are starting to cash in on prime real estate, by fitting outdoor digital signage into their vehicles, so that when the delivery truck is in traffic, pedestrians on the foot path can see from both sides of the truck the commercials, this is an ideal marketing idea when there is a traffic jam, as more and more end users will take note of the electronic advertising campaigns.

But there is one massive challenge and that is the LCD and plasma screens, need protecting, not only from the local weather, dust and other vehicles but also from pedestrians, just imagine the injure a pedestrian would receive if they walked out on a truck and accidentally collided with the LCD display, they could be disfigured for life.

Hence the cause that one company is investing in a selection of Lcd enclosures, these protective TV housings offer all the defense needed to work efficiently whilst helping the company earn a residual income from the marketing shown on the television monitors.

The explanation they choose Monitor enclosures, is that almost any maker of TV sets would fit a set range of casings, making the installation very affordable allowing the audio-visual department to purchase low-cost domestic televisions that are produced for the home.

These Digital signage enclosures attach to the delivery trucks sides with all the cables including power and internet are fed, the web is supplied through the 3G connection and GPS system inside the van so updates can be scheduled, or done on the fly from the central office or even using GPS, so geographical targeted commercial for restaurant and hotels are displayed in local areas.

Over the past 20 years the author has developed a range of outdoor digital signage protective enclosures and founded LCD Enclosure Global who are the leading manufacturer of LCD monitor enclosures, they also offer anti vandal LCD enclosures that provides all the protection and security needed for outdoor use.

Cumbria County Council Kiosk

After an initial pilot installation of 4 Parent Information Point terminals in 2007, Cumbria County Council was convinced about the functionality and complete managed solution the PIP terminals offer, and of course, the kiosks4business service that it has contracted with us to roll out the PIP terminals to all 28 CIS centres within the Council area. kiosks4business was responsible for the entire installation including the network infrastructure and the terminals themselves. The presentation of the system and the machine branding was designed together with the Early Years team in Carlisle and closely fits with their corporate identity.
